“2012”, Sci-Fi Thriller. Based on a prediction by the ancient Mayans of the end of Earth in the year 2012, a global event triggers the end of the world. The story follows a small group of survivors, who are the last remaining humans on Earth. Their survival is the prime directive if mankind is to continue. Starring John Cusack, Danny Glover, Thandie Newton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Woody Harrelson, Amanda Peet, and Oliver Platt. Directed by Roland Emmerich. Written by Roland Emmerich & Harald Kloser. Columbia Pictures release. Rated PG-13 for intense disaster sequences and some language. Runtime: 158 Minutes.
